Rod Reinforced Belts

Advantages:

  • Minimal belt width shrinkage under high loads and high temperatures
  • Unique structure provides high allowable tension for the belt.

Rod reinforced belts are constructed with straight reinforcing rods inserted between the spirals of single weave belts, effectively reducing longitudinal stretch and contraction under high-temperature conditions.
For applications requiring a chain link belt with enhanced strength, cross rods can be inserted through the spiral coils and fitted with drive chains for engagement with sprockets.

Applications:

Heat treating, Metal working, Food processing, Snack food, Ceramics, Baking, Industrial curtains, Curing, Shrink-wrapping, Lifting slings, Elevating, Cladding
